As we continuously look to expand our footprint occasionally seasonal opportunities exists within our organisation for a Marine Claims Assessor / Surveyor. The role is on a contractor “as required” basis, and best suited to an established Marine Surveyor, Marine Professional, or Mechanical Technician looking to supplement their current workload.
The suitable applicant would have a Marine Mechanical, Shipwright, or Marine Surveying background and qualifications, be self-motivated, and be capable of working remotely unsupervised.

Our organisation attends to losses on behalf of Domestic Marine specific Insurers in an Assessing and Adjusting capacity for commercial and recreational vessels generally less than 35 meters, power, sail, and PWC. The role incorporates inspection of vessel damage on site, reviewing repair costs, and reporting using our customised software. Arranging salvage and recovery may also be required. All administrative tasks are undertaken internally within our framework.
Our primary office is in the Marine Precinct of the Gold Coast, Queensland; with other offices in Sydney and Newcastle. Our Service area extends Nationally with established demand in Victoria, NSW Qld, and NT, we look to extend this to include SA, WA, and Tasmania. Due to the nature of the Marine Industry, winters in this role can be slow, but the spring and summer sees demand increase significantly.
